Hurricane Ike

I know I am late starting this blog, but I thought I would go back and tell our story.

On Sept 13th Hurricane Ike hit Galveston, Tx. What I did to our town is unbelievable.

Noone told us what a flood and storm surge could do.

I evacuted on the morning of Sept 12th. At 6:30 am the city called a manatory evacution, so I left with my mother-in-law. We went to my family in Fort Worth.

We watch the news for any word of what was happening, We could not get much information on what was going on in Bridge City, all of the major news reports were coming form Houston.

Channel 6new-KFDM had streaming video on the web site that was great. KOGT radio also had a great website that had a lot of pictures.
